  23. Ad 1.: You are most probably using the large font prefs. These use
  24. CompuGraphic fonts and if you have not created bitmaps for the sizes used
  25. in AWeb it will create them on startup in memory. This takes some time.
  26. Remedy: Use System/Intellifont to create bitmap versions of the sizes. For
  27. the AWeb prefs included that would be CGTimes 17, 20, 24 and 37. Read your
  28. AmigaDOS manuals on how to use Intellifont.

  30. This change reduced AWeb startup time to 1 second here, whereas it was 14
  31. seconds before.

  33. Ad 2.: Mail the boneheads to make an alternative frameless version, they are
  34. after all in violation of the only _official_ HTML standard :)
